Car was brought in for a misfire on number four cylinder. Was told it needed spark plugs in a number four coil. A separate issue was a transmission range sensor. The next morning, the car through the same code for the misfire on the same cylinder. I called the service department Talk to an advisor who is very condescending and argumentative. I explained to her the code was scanned, and it’s the same code that the Car was initially brought in for she continued to argue with me over it. I took the car to another service center who told me the car was misdiagnosed. The car has an internal engine problem and that cylinder the compression is down to 100. No spark plug or coil is going to fix that. I wasted $720 because the car was misdiagnosed. I wouldn’t put spark plugs into a car that needs a brand new engine. I paid a high diagnostic fee for nothing, they never bothered to check the compression on the engine. They went ahead and replace parts like a novice would do. I would like to know what the dealership is going to do to make this right.

By the way, the car has about 160,000 miles on it and this was the first time it needed a major repair, A tribute to the quality of Chevy's product.

Always horrible and overpriced service. Ridiculous quote for repair work, similar to several years ago when I brought car in for oil change, and service said I needed $4,500 worth of work. Took it to my local mechanic who said I didn't need any of that work and only needed a few hundred dollars of service. Never went back other than for recall (which I waited 2 years for). Will never use Maritime again

Everyone was friendly and helpful when we went in. However, I was not called when my car was ready. I called on January 2 in the early afternoon & was told the part was in, but that the car wasn’t done & that I’d get a call when it was. I called the next day (Saturday, January 3) and left a message. I did not hear back. I called again on Tuesday, January 6 and was told it was ready. However, the paperwork I received indicated that the car had been done since 2:37 on January 2. I also was told that they were checking the brake pads, but was not called with the results prior to that work being completed.
