America’s most affordable EV is set to make a bold return to the growing Chevrolet all-electric lineup. From inception in 2017, the Bolt has continued to change the game as the first long-range, mass-produced EV available at a truly affordable price. For 2023, the Bolt and Bolt EUV have been enjoying their strongest sales year to date. Eighty percent of Bolt owners continue to stay loyal to Chevy, and nearly seventy percent are trading a non-GM vehicle. Drawing on the various Ultium and Ultifi technological advancements, the new Bolt will be able to hit the market on an accelerated timeline. Specifics are set to be announced at a later date, but will continue to deliver what customers have come to expect: great affordability, range and technology. The new Bolt will join the growing EV lineup, along with the soon-to-be-launched Silverado EV, Blazer EV, and Equinox EV. “Our customers love today’s Bolt. Introducing the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition – a celebration of the legendary effort to run a NASCAR Cup Camaro ZL1 at Le Mans. Earlier this month, three of the world’s most accomplished race drivers were able to pilot the Garage 56 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Now, 56 enthusiast will get to own a car inspired by this incredible special race car, a collaboration between NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports, Chevrolet, Goodyear and IMSA. “Even though Chevrolet has been racing since its inception in 1911, we’ve never done anything quite like Garage 56,” said General Motors President Mark Reuss. The vision began back in 2012, when the Garage 56 was introduced at Le Mans as a single-entry class reserved for innovative vehicles built to withstand 24 hours of maximum-effort driving. Longtime Chevrolet partner Hendrick Motorsports, all-time leader in NASCAR Cup Series championships and race wins, was selected to field the team and construct the Garage 56 Camaro ZL1 race car. Converting the Cup Camaro ZL1 to the Garage 56 required specific functional lighting, new aero treatments, and a standout livery. Renowned drivers Jimmie Johnson, a seven-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion; Jenson Button, 2009 Formula One World Champion; and multi-time Le Mans winner Mike Rockenfeller drove the Garage 56 Camaro ZL1 at Le Mans this month. The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition renderings were finally showcased this month during a “Meet the Team” event at Le Mans highlighting the race program and the race car. After the success of the Garage 56, it became clear to leaderships of Chevrolet, NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports, Goodyear and IMSA, that this car needed to be accompanied by a production vehicle – creating another significant accomplishment in Camaro’s heritage. The design starts with a new Riptide Blue exterior color with graphics that pull in colors and themes from the race car, including thin gold stripes to accent a white trim that runs from the hood to the rear decklid. On the hood, you’ll find the NASCAR 75th Anniversary logo to match the prominent placement of the race car. A Garage 56 badge can be found on the front fenders, and a Hendrick Motorsports logo is placed on the sail panels to mimic the race car logos. Sat mirrors, a black fuel door with carbon fiber inserts, and Garage 56 emblems on the floor mats and steering wheel also adorn the production Garage. Like the race car, the production Garage is given its power from the Small Block engine family – the Camaro ZL1’s 650hp LT4 V-8 is under the hood, and the Camaro rides on Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar rubber. The Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition will enter production later this year at GM’s Lansing Grand River Assembly facility in Michigan.

Earlier this month, Chevrolet was able to honor their 19-year history of collaborating with the MLB and All-Star Game Presented by Mastercard by donating two of the new 2024 Trax models to military charities. The two organizations Operation Homefront and Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) identified deserving recipients of the vehicles to ensure their perfect placement. The recipient of the Operation Homefront Trax was Army Veteran Abreante Jones, a single mother of an eight year old son. AFter serving seven years in the military before being honorably discharged to pursue her education as a paralegal, Jones lost her vehicle due to engine failure and no longer had any reliable transportation. The practicality and safety features of the 2024 Trax RS will now allow Jones to comfortably continue and travel for her career, while also ensuring that her younger passengers are well protected on the way to after-school activities. The recipient of the TAPS Tax was Amanda Tinsley, the surviving spouse of Sgt. Tyler Tinsley. Currently raising her eight year old son and nine year old daughter alone, the Tinsely family faces several issues with their current vehicle, keeping them from activities and important events. The 2024 Trax RS will provide Tinsley with space, safety and technology while on the road. “The Jones and Tinsley families exemplify the service and sacrifice of the military community,” said Steve Majoros, chief marketing officer, Chevrolet. “Chevrolet is honored to provide them with an all-new 2024 Trax and remains committed to recognizing the bravery and dedication of those who have served and their families.” The 2024 Trax, recently redesigned for the 2024 model year, is newly equipped with updated technology, safety features, and an expanded interior to ensure more space for any lifestyle or adventure. Last month, Chevrolet and Pratt Miller Motorsports officials announced the formation of Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports (PMM) to lead competition and development with the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R. Starting off strong at the 2024 Rolex 24 At Daytona, the new program will campaign a pair of the new-for-2024, GT3-spec Corvettes for a full season in the GT Daytona (GTD) PRO category of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. This collaboration comes as a perfect fit between Chevrolet and PMM, with the current full-factory Corvette Racing program in its 25th season with 125 race victories. Most recently at the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the team’s ninth class win at the famed French classic. Plus, Corvette Racing has programs in both IMSA and the FIA World Endurance Championship with the Corvette C8.R, which is now in its final season of competition, for two seasons in a row. “Chevrolet and Pratt Miller have collaborated for more than 25 years on the Corvette Racing program, and we are thrilled that we are able to continue together into the GT3 era,” said Christie Bagne, program manager, Corvette Z06 GT3.R. The planning between each team began two years ago for the Corvette GT3 era. Pratt Miller — located in New Hudson, Michigan — is the constructor of the Z06 GT3.R, with engineers who have worked hand-in-hand with Chevrolet Motorsports engineers on development, build and testing of the vehicle. Miller has dedicated to chassis builds and engineering on the Z06 GT3.R, while the GM Propulsion Performance and Racing Center in Pontiac, Michigan, has focused on the development and refinement of the 5.5L, flat-plane crankshaft DOHC LT6 V-8 engine that will power the racecar. Corvette Racing and Pratt Miller have accumulated nearly 9,000 kilometers (5,500 miles) with the Corvette Z06 GT3.R since September of last year. The car currently is undergoing its final homologation testing in Europe with additional testing planned for the summer and fall to fine-tune the Z06 GT3.R to multiple brands of tires for use across an array of championships around the world. “This is an exciting time for everyone at Pratt Miller,” said Brandon Widmer, Pratt Miller Vice President, Motorsports. “We’ve experienced a lot of successes, race wins and championships with Chevrolet through the Corvette Racing program. Now we move into the GT3 era. Everyone is pleased with the progress of our testing and development programs, and new car builds are under way.”

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Achilles International, Chevrolet Military Appreciation is proud to sponsor the 2023 Achilles Relay. This relay is a 500-mile run, walk, and wheel relay race that travels from Boston, MA to Washington DC. Chevrolet and Achilles International have joined together to support and transform the lives of wounded military personnel and veterans through donations and fundraising. Achilles International is a global organization that includes 17 countries dedicated to empowering people with disabilities through athletic programs and social connection. The Achilles Freedom Team (a subgroup of Achilles International) provides wounded, ill and injured veterans an opportunity to participate in high profile marathons and races. This Military Appreciation Month, Achilles plans to raise over $10,000 for those living with military disabilities before the race reaches its Washington DC destination. Roughly 26% of adults in the United States live with a disability, with nearly half of those receiving no aerobic physical activity. Research also shows that people with disabilities are more likely to report feelings of loneliness and social isolation. The Achilles Relay is to welcome people with and without disabilities to celebrate the athlete within and show how we can overcome obstacles together.
