For 2026, the entire Chevrolet Corvette lineup (Stingray, E-Ray, Z06, and the upcoming ZR1) receives a major interior update, featuring larger, more advanced displays, refined materials, and a reimagined cabin designed for driver engagement and comfort. The cabin of the new 2026 Corvette welcomes both driver and passenger, beginning with a new three-screen layout and reimagined console design. The updated driver-centric cockpit includes a larger 12.7-inch diagonal center console display, an expanded 14-inch diagonal driver information center, and an all-new 6.6-inch diagonal touchscreen auxiliary display to the left of the steering wheel. This layout enhances functionality and delivers a modern, driver-focused environment. Controls have been repositioned for greater convenience, including a new wireless charging pad, an improved volume knob, and HVAC controls that create a more open layout between the driver and passenger. Additional refinements include ambient-lit cupholders, aluminum trim on higher trims, and a new USB-C port on the passenger side. The ZR1 and select trims offer a new carbon fiber display hood, complementing other performance-oriented options. Corvette’s updated display graphics now include Tour, Sport, and Track modes with sharper visuals and customizable layouts. The optional Performance App, previously exclusive to the E-Ray, is now available across the entire lineup. It tracks power delivery, acceleration times, G-force, tire conditions, and key engine vitals. This data can be viewed on the new auxiliary display or transferred to the main display for enhanced visibility. The available Performance Data Recorder has been overhauled with a user-friendly interface and sharper video capture, allowing drivers to analyze their laps in detail with features like real-time speed tracing, side-by-side playback, and on-screen tips. All 2026 Corvettes feature a custom infotainment system with Google Built-in, enabling voice-activated control over vehicle settings, navigation, climate, media, messaging, and more. When parked, drivers and passengers can enjoy streaming services and apps such as HBO Max, Prime Video, GameSnacks, and Chrome through Google Play. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included. “Corvette is the ultimate American sports car, and with these updates, it’s ready to lead the luxury performance segment well into the future,” said Scott Bell, Vice President of Chevrolet. With its bold new interior and performance-driven enhancements, the 2026 Corvette lineup reaffirms its place at the forefront of American automotive excellence.

Kyle Larson delivered a commanding performance at Kansas Speedway on May 10, 2025, powering his No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet to a dominant victory. After securing the pole position, Larson quickly took control and led 221 of the race’s 267 laps — marking one of the most dominant wins of the NASCAR Cup Series season. The win was Larson’s third of 2025, putting him alongside Christopher Bell as the only drivers with three victories so far this year. It also marked Larson’s third career win at Kansas and the 32nd of his Cup Series career, tying him with NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Jarrett for 29th on the all-time wins list. “Great car, great execution today,” Larson said. “Glad to not win by an inch this time. A little bit safer gap. Congrats to everyone at Hendrick Motorsports and the engine shop.” Larson swept both of the race’s opening stages, bringing his stage win total to eight for the season—a new record for the first 12 races. He now leads the Cup Series standings by 35 points over teammate William Byron, whose race ended early after a blown tire relegated the No. 24 Chevy to a 24th-place finish. Chase Elliott, in the No. 9 Chevrolet, looked like Larson’s closest challenger, leading 29 laps. However, a misstep on pit road cost Elliott 11 positions late in the race, and he was unable to recover, ultimately finishing 15th. Looking ahead, Larson now turns his attention to one of the most ambitious challenges in motorsports: the Indy Double. Over Memorial Day weekend, he will attempt to compete in both the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 on the same day—a test of endurance and precision that few drivers have attempted. With his current momentum, all eyes will be on Larson as he aims to make history once again.

Chevrolet has introduced the Blazer EV.R NASCAR prototype, a groundbreaking vehicle that pushes the boundaries of electric performance and racing technology. Revealed ahead of the DAYTONA 500, this prototype is part of Chevrolet’s ongoing efforts to test and develop innovations that could influence both motorsports and future production vehicles. “While we will continue to race our proven and winning V8 technology in NASCAR for years to come, we are always looking for ways to enhance power, durability, and efficiency,” said Eric Warren, executive director of global motorsports competition at GM. “Motorsports serves as a test bed for innovation, allowing us to transfer valuable insights from the racetrack to Chevy’s expanding EV lineup.” The Blazer EV.R NASCAR prototype delivers over 1,300 horsepower, powered by three six-phase electric motors capable of revving up to 15,000 rpm. Its 78-kWh liquid-cooled battery provides instant torque and high-performance capabilities, pushing the limits of electric propulsion in racing. Built on NASCAR’s Next Gen chassis and suspension, the Blazer EV.R features a programmable all-wheel drive system and Goodyear Racing Eagle tires, ensuring optimal traction and handling at race speeds. Developed in collaboration with NASCAR, the prototype incorporates styling cues from the Blazer EV SS, blending aggressive aerodynamics with performance-driven design. Phil Zak, executive director of Chevrolet Global Design, highlighted the project’s unique approach: GM engineers transformed the concept into a fully functional race car, completing successful test laps at Carolina Motorsports Park in South Carolina. Justin Allgaier, 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion, piloted the prototype during testing and noted the unique driving experience: “Adjusting to this platform required a shift in approach. Unlike a traditional NASCAR stock car, regenerative braking plays a significant role in cornering balance and braking zones.” In addition to unveiling the Blazer EV.R, Chevrolet paced the 67th DAYTONA 500 on February 16, 2025, with the Blazer EV SS. Boasting 615 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.4 seconds with Wide Open Watts, it is the quickest SS model Chevrolet has ever produced. Actor Alan Ritchson has been named the honorary pace car driver for the event.

Chevrolet has introduced the Silverado EV ZR2 race truck concept, an all-electric off-road contender set to compete in the legendary Mint 400. This high-performance race truck will join the Hall Racing team’s lineup alongside the Silverado ZR2 and Colorado ZR2, with Chad Hall behind the wheel in the Open Production EV class. "There is no better proving ground to test the limits of our vehicles than competitive racing," said Scott Bell, vice president of Chevrolet. "The Silverado EV ZR2 race truck concept, which uses 98% GM production parts, showcases the strength and capability Chevrolet brings to off-road performance." The Silverado EV ZR2 race truck concept follows Chevrolet’s proven ZR2 formula, incorporating: Lifted front and rear suspension with off-road tuning Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) dampers, providing over 13 inches of wheel travel Locking differentials for enhanced traction Underbody skid protection for durability in extreme conditions With 37-inch BF Goodrich KM3 Mud-Terrain tires and a tri-motor electric propulsion system, the Silverado EV ZR2 race truck delivers an astounding 1,100 horsepower and 11,500 lb-ft of torque, making it a formidable force in off-road racing. Chevrolet engineers will embed themselves with Hall Racing to analyze the race truck’s performance, durability, and capability in real-world conditions. The insights gained from events like the Mint 400 will influence future Chevrolet production vehicles, performance parts, and accessories. Today, Chevrolet already offers more than 44 off-road performance parts for its production trucks. "What we learn from racing is applied to vehicles consumers can buy," said Chad Hall, Hall Racing team lead and primary driver. "An off-road race like the Mint 400 is equivalent to a lifetime of vehicle wear and tear." Hall Racing has a strong history with Chevrolet, beginning with its first stock production class entry in a Colorado ZR2 in 2017. Since then, the team has completed 53 out of 54 races, demonstrating the durability and capability of Chevrolet’s off-road platforms. The Silverado EV ZR2 race truck concept’s debut comes ahead of the 2026 Silverado EV Trail Boss launch this summer, Chevrolet’s first off-road-focused EV variant. The Trail Boss will feature a factory-installed lift, 18-inch wheels, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and new Terrain Mode for improved maneuverability. With its latest race truck concept, Chevrolet continues to push the boundaries of EV performance and off-road capability, proving that electric power is ready to tackle the most extreme terrains.

The Corvette ZR1 continues to redefine performance, setting five new production car lap records at top U.S. racetracks with four General Motors drivers at the wheel. This impressive feat highlights the car’s engineering excellence and reinforces its dominance on the track. With 65 years of combined GM Level 6 driving experience, the team behind the wheel has mastered the art of high-performance driving, holding Nürburgring Industry Pool certifications and pushing the ZR1 to its limits on some of the fastest, most demanding tracks in the U.S. “Corvette ZR1 continues to showcase how this nameplate elevates at every corner,” said Corvette Executive Chief Engineer Tony Roma. “From design, engineering, and development to validation and setting records like these – we do it all in-house.” The Corvette ZR1 with the ZTK Package boasts a top speed of 233 mph, a 0-60 mph time of 2.3 seconds, and a quarter-mile time of 9.6 seconds. No other production car under $1 million rivals its performance. MSRP for the 2025 Corvette ZR1 starts at $174,995 (including destination charge) for the 1LZ coupe and $184,995 for the 1LZ hardtop convertible. Production begins in Q2 2025 at GM’s Bowling Green Assembly plant in Kentucky, with orders opening later this month.

Chevrolet has brought electrifying performance to The Great American Race as the 2025 Blazer EV SS, the quickest SS model ever produced, took on pace car duties for the 67th DAYTONA 500 at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Set to go on sale later this quarter, the Blazer EV SS is powered by Wide Open Watts (WOW) mode, delivering an astonishing 0-60 mph time of just 3.4 seconds, with 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The production-spec pace car—featuring custom graphics and embedded strobe lighting — led the field without any performance modifications, showcasing the EV’s race-ready acceleration and cutting-edge technology. "Chevrolet has a long history with racing – it’s in our DNA – and the Blazer EV SS is a testament to that," said Scott Bell, vice president of Chevrolet.
