Celebrating 30 Years of Changing Lives with Literacy Volunteers of Southern CT

Maritime Chevrolet is proud to sponsor the Literacy Volunteers of Southern Connecticut in celebrating 30 years of changing lives! Join us on Saturday, November 9th and enjoy live jazz and dance music by Band Central, food and drink provided by Two Roads Brewing Company, a chance to win a Yeti Tundra 25.6” cooler, and more. All proceeds for this event will directly benefit Literacy Volunteers of Southern CT – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping adults in our community strengthen their English language literacy. 

The event will be held at Two Roads Brewing Company in Stratford, CT from 7pm – 10pm. Tickets are currently on sale and include small bites with 2 free drink tickets. Band Central will be onsite to play live jazz and dance music featuring rock from different decades with a soul/funk feel. For tickets and information, click here.

Since 1994, Literacy Volunteers of Southern CT has served the greater Milford and Stratford area providing one-on-one tutoring, at no cost, to any adult who wishes to learn the English language and enhance the reading, writing, speaking and listening-comprehension skills.
