Take A Dunk For Education

We all have that certain someone that we would like to send swimming in a dunk tank. Thanks to the Fairfield Police Union, you just might have your chance. On September 25th and 26th, The Fairfield Police Union will be hosting a Dunk a Cop fundraiser. Maritime Chevrolet has partnered up with the Fairfield Police department to provide the “dunkies” for the event. Come out to see our Service Manager, Ralph Casella, go for a swim. Also, who wouldn’t want to see over 20 Fairfield police officers take a dunk for education? The cost is $5.00 for 3 throws. This is an experience you don’t want to miss, literally! . All proceeds from this event will benefit the CT Special Olympics and the Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund. The Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund was established in 2014 and benefits the children of Fairfield Police Officers. Each year, scholarships are awarded to the children of a current Fairfield Police Officers. In addition, the Fairfield High School Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships annually to graduating Fairfield High School seniors who plan to pursue a career in law enforcement or are the children of a Police Officer.
