Finding a Way to Give Back

The holiday season is always an exciting time of the year. The weather really begins to feel cold, decorations are put on display and so much more. With everything going on, it can be easy to overlook those who may not be as unfortunate. That is why Maritime Chevrolet gives back. We partner with numerous charities in the Fairfield County area and would like to show you a couple local organizations that are always looking for that extra bit of help.

Little Black Dog Rescue: This is a charity that’ll get your tail wagging. Little Black Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization that focuses on the rescue, care, and placement of black dogs who are in danger of euthanasia, as well as other dogs who are in immediate need. Maritime Chevrolet has partnered numerous times with this organization with visits to our dealership for adoption events. The cost to operate a rescue organization is steep: medical, food and upkeep are just a few of the expenses that are alleviated by your help. Toys for Tots: Not everyone is fortunate enough to receive presents throughout the holiday season. Luckily the Toys for Tots organization helps to provide gifts to those who are not as fortunate. Sponsored by the United States Marine Corps, veterans help to collect, and distribute thousands of toys throughout December. With your donation, this is made possible. Everything counts, from the smallest Lego to the biggest teddy bear! At Maritime Chevrolet, you can find a Toys for Tots bin to donate whatever you can spare to those truly in need this holiday season.
