The Cancer Beat

Maritime Chevrolet was proud to sponsor the Cancer Couch Foundations 3rd annual benefit concert at the Fairfield Theater Company on September 8th. The event included a live auction,raffles, a comedy set from comedian Christine O’Leary, and music from headliners G. Love and Special Sauce. Raffle prizes included 2 round trip Jet Blue tickets, up to $7,500 worth of Allergan Botox and “liquid facelift” Juvederm injectable fillers from the Connecticut Dermatology Group, and a 5 star trip to Italy. “This was a very exciting event for Maritime to sponsor. Not only were we raising money, but we were able to enjoy great music and food, and have fun at the same time,” says Owner/Operator Eric Sandstrom. 100% of the proceeds were donated to fund research for metastatic breast cancer and will be matched by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
