Join Maritime Chevy for the 2nd Annual MADD Dry 5K

Start the new year with a new 5k, sponsored by Maritime Chevrolet! On Sunday, January 4th, join us for the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Dry 5k at Fairfield University. Kick off the New Year with a fresh start while supporting an important cause for our community!

New for this year’s annual MADD Dry 5k is the addition of a 2 mile walk! Both the 5k and the 2 mile begin at 9am, with delicious grab-and-go snacks for a quick recharge after crossing the finish line. Mothers Against Drunk Driving is a vital part of our community, having saved more than 370,000 lives and helped nearly 900,000 victims since their inception. Their plan to eliminate drunk driving includes prevention by high visibility law enforcement and ignition interlock devices. As technology advances, the hope is that newer autonomous vehicles and drunk driving prevention technology will become more prevalent and vital in the fight against driving under the influence.
