The newest addition to the Chevy EV lineup is here – and just as loved as we expected it to be. The Chevrolet Blazer EV has clinched a spot on the esteemed 2024 Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX list, celebrating vehicles that excel in both design and user experience.
Each year, the Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX competition meticulously evaluates new or extensively redesigned vehicle interiors and user-experience technologies. Criteria for evaluation encompass various aspects such as design aesthetics, comfort, materials, connectivity, and infotainment.
According to Wards judge Christie Schweinsberg, the Blazer EV stands out with its main display screen, rivaling those found in luxury models, boasting exceptional resolution and clarity. The cabin is adorned with unique trim and design elements, accentuated by striking color schemes.
Wards judge Bob Gritzinger praises the Blazer EV for its eye-catching red accents and sporty radial air vents, complemented by lightning-fast Google-based voice controls and a plethora of intuitive knobs and switches for seamless functionality.
The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV boasts innovative and dynamic styling, setting it apart in the segment. Inside, drivers are greeted by a generous 17.7-inch-diagonal color touchscreen at the center of the cabin, paired with an 11-inch-diagonal color Driver Information Center.
Available in LT and RS trims, the 2024 Blazer EV qualifies for the full federal $7,500 consumer tax credit and is offered in front-, rear-, and all-wheel drive configurations. Certified by the EPA with an impressive range of 324 miles on a full charge (RWD). Click here to find your perfect Blazer EV in our inventory today.

The ultimate comparison test is the annual 10Best awards, hosted by Car and Driver. This year, they gathered every new and upgraded vehicle on the market that retails for under $110,000 in order to bring you the very best of the very best: including the 2024 Chevy Trax for 10Best Trucks & SUVs and the 2024 Chevy Corvette for 10Best Cars.
The new Chevy Trax has been revamped, offering more space and better value than ever. This redesign, coupled with enhanced safety features, transforms the previously lackluster subcompact into an appealing choice. Equipped with front-wheel drive, the Trax features a 137-hp turbocharged three-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission, borrowed from the smaller Trailblazer. Its stylish design takes inspiration from the mid-size Blazer.
The latest generation Trax boasts increased rear legroom and cargo space, and impressively, its starting price is lower than the model it replaces. As one of the most affordable crossovers on the market, following closely behind the subcompact Kia Soul and Hyundai Venue, the Trax is a smart choice for buyers seeking maximum value from their new car purchase. Click here to view our current inventory to see if your next Trax is on our lot.
It’s no surprise that the Chevy Corvette has earned another 10Best trophy, marking its 25th appearance on the list. This achievement places it just behind the Honda Accord as one of the all-time leading recipients of this prestigious award.
In today’s market, the Corvette’s price has understandably increased. Now in its fifth production year, the cost of entry for this mid-engine marvel has risen by $10,000 since its debut, bringing it to a still remarkable $69,995. This price point is exceptional for a car that effortlessly balances multiple personalities. Take it to the track on Saturday, then cruise to church on Sunday. There’s no need to garage it during winter—equip it with winter tires, and it’s ready for year-round driving.
At Maritime Chevy, we have a curated collection of both new 2024 Corvette models and lightly pre-owned models – some of which have never been titled. Click here to view our collection to see if your next Corvette is in our inventory.

Among the eight color choices, six come at no additional charge, while two – Marina Blue Metallic and Nitro Yellow Metallic – are priced at an extra $395. Marina Blue is a fresh addition to the lineup, while Nitro Yellow carries over from the previous model year.
Despite slight price increases for certain trim levels compared to the 2024 model, the 2025 Chevy Trax remains positioned at the affordable end of Chevy’s model portfolio. Starting MSRP ranges from $21,495 for the entry-level 1LS to $25,395 for the range-topping Activ, inclusive of a $1,095 destination freight charge.
Powering the 2025 Trax is a new variant of the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine under the hood, marked by the RPO code LBP to denote its flex-fuel capability. This engine delivers the same performance as before, with 137 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 162 pound-feet of torque at 2,500 rpm. All trim levels come with a front-wheel drivetrain.
Dimensional adjustments to the second-gen Trax provide both the 2024 and 2025 models with three additional inches of rear legroom and a 12-percent increase in cargo space. The 2025 Chevy Trax remains built on the GM VSS-F vehicle set.

The highly-anticipated launch of the all-electric Equinox is almost here. Set to join the expanding Electric Chevy lineup, the Equinox EV is on track to be one of the most affordable (if not the most) in its class. The electric SUV starts at just $34,995 with up to 319 miles range. That includes the $1,395 destination fee. Plus, if you own (or lease) a 2017 Chevy Bolt EV model or newer, you could be eligible for up to $3,000 off the new fully electric Equinox.
The 2024 Equinox EV debuts as a blend of SUV capability and modern electric technology, showcasing that going electric doesn’t have to break the bank. Powered by the Ultium Platform, this sleek vehicle promises an electrifying driving experience at an accessible price point, making it a compelling option for your daily commute.
With two powertrain options: front-wheel drive with a single electric motor generating 210 horsepower, or an optional all-wheel-drive system delivering 290 horsepower, you’ll find the perfect Equinox for any lifestyle. Regardless of the powertrain choice, all Equinox EV models feature the same battery pack, offering varying range estimates based on trim level and configuration. Chevy projects up to 319 miles of range for front-wheel-drive models according to EPA estimates, with all-wheel-drive versions slightly reducing that figure to 285 miles. Additionally, all models boast DC fast-charging capability, allowing for a rapid 70-mile range increase in just 10 minutes.

Updating Our Courtesy Vehicle Lineup

Our Courtesy Transportation Vehicles are getting a much needed update. We know that our Courtesy Vehicle Fleets and availability has been a bit of a struggle since the pandemic. With supply-side issues, we have had fewer vehicles that usual enrolled in our Courtesy Loaner Fleets. We are excited to let everyone know that our supply levels are almost back to normal, meaning that there is a much better chance that we can satisfy your transportation needs while you are servicing. We also want to thank all our clients for your patience and understanding.
In order to achieve a larger collection of Courtesy Vehicles, we are happy to announce that we are incorporating electric vehicles into our courtesy programs. Most of our Courtesy inventory will achieve more than 300 miles per charge and will be loaned out with a minimum of 80% charge. Eighty percent may sound much lower than necessary, but you don’t want 100% charge in order to maximize your energy usage through regeneration during normal driving, and you need some battery space to store that energy. We don’t anticipate many of you having home charging options yet, so you will not be responsible for recharging your electric Courtesy Vehicle. We will take care of that with our recently installed fast charging systems at the dealership. The good news is that you will no longer have to refill the gas in your EV! Please ask your advisor for a driving tutorial if you are not familiar with operations or require longer range for your anticipated use.
Next time you come in and need to borrow one of our Courtesy Vehicles, just ask to try the new 2024 Chevy Blazer EV. While our opinion may be a little biased, we know that you will find the Blazer EV a fantastic drive, whether this is your first EV or not. These vehicles are also unique, as they come available for sale after 60 days or 1,500 driven miles at a premium discounted price. Ask your Advisor for more details if you are interested in learning more about driving electric – or if you’d like to learn more about our available financial assistance for equipping your home for e-charging for a short time.
Thank you again for you understanding and patience as we return to our normal service level, and thank you for your continued patronage!
