Chevy EV

Electric vehicles are smoother, faster, more efficient, and even more convenient when compared to their fuel requiring counterparts. EVs don’t require conventional gearboxes, make little to no noise, offer huge amounts of instant torque, double the energy efficiency of fuel vehicles, and can be charged in the comfort of your own garage. While the Chevrolet Bolt EV and Bolt EUV have been taking the electric market by storm, and the first-ever Silverado EV has finally opened for pre-orders, Chevy has more in store for their EV lineup: The Blazer and Equinox EV.

ALL-ELECTRIC BLAZER

Blazer EV is the complete package with style, performance and technology. Available in multiple trims, colors and battery ranges, this daring new all-electric midsize SUV is built from the ground up around the game-changing Ultium battery platform. The spacious, futuristic interior of Blazer EV offers performance seating, a race car-inspired flat-bottom steering wheel and ambient lighting to match your vibe. Plus, available Super Cruise – hands-free driving and explore 400,000 miles of compatible roads in the U.S. and Canada with Super Cruise driver assistance technology.

Blazer EV includes standard Chevy Safety Assist, a suite of six advanced safety features. Additionally, available Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist can automatically steer, brake and shift gears to park your vehicle into a detected parallel or perpendicular parking space while shifting gears as needed, and standard Reverse Automatic Braking alerts you and can automatically provide hard emergency braking to help avoid collisions with detected vehicles and objects directly behind you when you’re in Reverse.

Ultium offers flexibility in charging speeds, range and performance — giving the sporty Blazer EV the sheer power and confidence needed to go the distance. Enjoy a GM-estimated range of up to 247–320 miles on a full charge. When enabled, Regen on Demand™ and One Pedal Driving help convert the vehicle’s kinetic energy into energy stored in the battery for later use to help get the most range.

ALL-ELECTRIC EQUINOX

Equinox EV is proof that electric doesn’t have to mean exclusive. Enabled by the Ultium Platform — this sporty, refined vehicle is engineered to be the total package made affordable, electrifying your daily drives. Whether it’s a quick jaunt or long journey, Equinox EV has up to 300 miles of electric range on a full charge. When enabled, Regen On Demand and One Pedal Driving will convert the vehicle’s kinetic energy into energy stored in the battery.

In addition to Chevy Safety Assist, Equinox EV is equipped with Reverse Automatic Braking. This new technology can alert you and/or automatically provide hard emergency braking to help avoid collisions with detected vehicles and objects directly behind you when you’re in Reverse.

A clean, modern exterior with walk-up lighting puts you center stage. Modern touches like available front and rear lighting animations and flush door handles round out this seriously stylish package. A roomy, no-compromises interior features ample cargo room and convenient storage solutions. Make it yours with available features such as customizable ambient lighting, heated front seats, heated steering wheel and heated wiper park. And with intuitive controls within reach on an available massive 17-inch driver-centric freeform display, you’re always just a touch away from the tech you love.

Transitioning to EV

Based on limited availability, we recommend that you reserve an incoming or future EV model as soon as possible, even if owning an EV is a year down the road. Enjoy the benefit of less scheduled maintenance, over the air updates, and save an average of $4,387 over 5 years in fuel and maintenance prices for someone that drives 15k miles per year. If you think the price of gas will go up over the next few years like we do, the savings will be even more. Plus, you’ll put ZERO emissions into our environment as your new EV doesn’t even have an exhaust pipe – nothing gets burned!

Unlike the old process of visiting a dealership to pick a vehicle out of stock, your new electric vehicles will be built to order. If you prefer, we can even deliver your new vehicle right to your home with our Maritime Concierge Service.

Silverado EV

The all-electric Silverado isn’t just a truck – it’s a category-defying, boundary-breaking game change. The only EV worthy of the Silverado name. This innovative EV combines cutting-edge tech with over a century of truck-building know-how to create a vehicle that more than delivers on its legendary name. The best part? Reservations are open for you to secure your very own.

Built from the ground up to change the world, it starts with Ultium – the all-new battery platform from General Motors that brings with it new power, new force, new flexibility, and of course, a new range of possibilities. The Silverado EV offers 400 miles of all-electric range on a full charge, along with plenty of charging options to help keep your batteries full wherever the day might take you. Skip the gas station and conveniently charge up your Silverado EV from the comfort of your own home with available Level 2 charging – you’ll have optimal at-home charging that easily fits your daily routine and driving needs.

To fit those extra-long items, the Silverado EV comes with available Multi-Flex Midgate to fit items over 10ft in length. Of course, you’ll also have the added benefit of no engine, which means the convenience of a trunk in the front of your Silverado. The Silverado EV will also come with available Super Cruise Driver Assistance Technology – hands-free driving and trailering up to 10,000lbs across 200,000 compatible roads in the U.S and Canada. All four wheels work together for a smaller turning radius, helping you make those tight turns when parallel parking or pulling your EV into a narrow parking space. What’s more, you can tow and trailer with confidence thanks to greater maneuverability and enhanced handling.

Of course, what would the new Silverado be without the added benefit of modern essentials? Enjoy a 17-inch diagonal, free-form screen that puts the info right where you want it. With Google built-in, your digital life will be fully connected to life on the road with Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play. Not to mention the added perk of a larger center console in replacement of a normal transmission. Silverado EV also comes with standard Chevy Safety Assist, a package of six advanced safety and driver assistance features designed to help give you added confidence every time you get in your truck.

Passenger side front 3/4 view of 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray 3LZ coupe in Seawolf Gray parked in a parking garage. Pre-production model shown.

Exactly 70 years from the first Corvette debut, Chevrolet gives the world first-ever electrified Corvette – with all-wheel-drive and a powerful 6.2L LT2 Small Block V-8. The Corvette E-Ray is developed to be the Corvette that can go anywhere, no matter the season, using intense straight-line performance, all-weather confidence and sure-footed grand touring capabilities that can only be achieved with eAWD. More than just a Corvette, and much more than just another electric vehicle.

Behind the Power

Where you expect a compromise on power, there is none. A near immediate thrust from low-end torque is core to the Corvette driving experience, and the E-Ray packs plenty of it. Power comes from the 6.2L LT2 Small Block V-8, putting 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque to the rear axle. An electric motor channels an additional 160 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque through the front wheels via a 1.9 kWh battery pack, which is located between the seats. In total, E-Ray produces a combined 655 horsepower from both the electric motor and Small Block V-8.

Contrary to other EVs in the Chevy lineup, E-Ray’s battery system requires no need for plug-in charging. The battery is charged via regenerative energy from coasting and braking, as well as during normal driving. The amount of electric assist is tailored within each of the Corvette E-Ray’s six driver-selectable modes: Tour, Sport, Track, Weather, My Mode and Z-Mode. Drivers can also select the Charge+ feature which maximizes the battery’s state of charge. E-Ray’s intelligent eAWD system is constantly learning the road surface, seamlessly adapting to meet traction conditions and driver needs.

Additional features and technologies:

  • Stealth Mode, an electric drive mode for the street, up to 45 mph
  • New lightweight lithium-ion 12-volt battery that supports the LT2 V-8 engine’s stop/start functionality
  • Standard Brembo Carbon Ceramic brake system for optimal braking performance
  • Standard Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 with three distinct suspension settings
  • Staggered 20- and 21-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires.
  • Low, wide stance with crafted body styling that is 3.6 inches wider overall than Stingray
  • Visceral sound experience that embodies the car’s dominating presence. The electric front motor works in harmony with the LT2 engine to create an invigorating sound
  • Enhanced roster of driver assistance technologies (shared with all 2024 Corvette models), including Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert and Automatic Emergency Braking.

Behind the Design

The E-Ray builds on the refined styling and performance design that Corvette drivers already know and love. It shares its wide-body proportions with the Z06, accommodating wide wheels that help manage the car’s greater torque delivery, with exclusive lightweight alloy wheels that have a twisted five-spoke star design.

The all-new Artemis Dipped interior is introduced with the E-Ray, featuring a complementary deep green tone on nearly every interior surface that will be only available on 2024 Corvette models. There are multiple options for customers to select when it comes to personalizing their E-Ray’s interior including two carbon fiber trim packages, three seat choices, seven interior colors, and more.

  • Four aluminum wheel finishes
  • Fourteen exterior color choices — including new for 2024 Riptide Blue, Seawolf Gray and Cacti
  • An E-Ray-exclusive body-length stripe package in Electric Blue
  • Standard carbon flash badging
  • Available black exhaust tips and bright badging
  • Available carbon fiber ground effects
  • Optional carbon fiber wheels in carbon flash, visible carbon fiber finish or visible carbon fiber with a red stripe

The 2024 Corvette E-Ray goes on sale later this year, with an MSRP of $104,2954 for the 1LZ coupe and $111,2954 for the 1LZ convertible model. Production to take place at GM’s Bowling Green Assembly facility in Kentucky, from U.S. and globally sourced parts.

These services and guidance are absolutely free of cost to our local families.

Chevy Protection on the road

You have enough on your mind without worrying about any unexpected surprises. That’s why we created the Chevrolet Protection Plans – to provide additional coverage on top of your manufacturer’s warranty. We’ll get your Chevy back on the road with any parts or labor covered and taken care of, leaving you with less to worry about. As a Chevrolet owner, you know how important dependability is. With Chevrolet Protection, you can drive confidently knowing that your vehicle is backed by the people who know it best.

With labor rates approaching $200 per hour or so, repairing a vehicle is getting more and more expensive every year. With a Chevy Protection Plan, you have both part and price protection. Choose the only coverage that shares the same name as the vehicle you drive and move forward with confidence on the roads ahead – whether your vehicle is currently under warranty or not. With interest-free financing and an additional $300 off when you choose Maritime Chevy, it’s easy for us to find a plan that meets your needs and budget.

Protection Plan
Protecting yourself from potentially expensive covered repair costs doesn’t have to be complicated. Simply choose the coverage that’s right for you, Silver or Platinum, along with your deductible and contract term. Your plan is customized to you and your Chevy, and covers up to 1,500 parts on your vehicle. The Chevrolet Protection Plan comes with extras in addition to coverage for approved repairs, including lost key and lockout, trip interruption, towing and road service, and rental car payment or reimbursement.

Extended Limited Warranty
The Chevrolet Extended Limited Warranty allows additional assurance for your Chevrolet, so you can feel confident when you set out for new adventures down the road. When you purchase a new Chevy, you automatically receive a 3-year/36,000-mile, whichever comes first, Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty. Now, you have the option to choose the longer Extended Limited Warranty, with coverage for 5 years/60,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Gap Coverage
If you have an accident and your vehicle is considered a total loss, most standard insurance policies will pay only the current market value of your vehicle, not for what is owed or the deductible. This can leave you responsible for the difference. GAP Coverage can help cover this difference.

Budget and Tax planning concept, Accountant Hand is calculating company annual tax and using calculator. Personal income tax form for who have income under US law, season to pay tax.

Tax season can be nerve-wracking for most people, because preparing a return is complicated. It requires a lot of information, which can only be found by sifting through a ton of paperwork. Even if you’re filing online, you still need to get your documents — both hard and computer copies — in order. With the following tips, you’ll be able to tame your wild paperwork, organize your documents and calmly succeed at tax season this year.

Paper route
First, collect every piece of paper, document and form you need to tackle your taxes, advises TheSpruce.com writer Sue Kay. If you start organizing before you have everything that needs to be organized, you’ll sabotage your efforts. Since tax prep is complex and covers a lot of data and details, give yourself ample time to get everything together, especially if you haven’t been diligent in your filing system throughout the year; you might have receipts in a kitchen drawer while your financial statements are stuffed in your bottom desk drawer. Don’t forget to gather your “vital” documents, such as social security numbers, insurance policies, car titles or property deeds, adds Kay.

Once you’ve collected all of the necessary documents, you’ll probably be overwhelmed by that heap of paperwork. Now is the time to divide and conquer. As you sort through the paperwork, file it into specific categories. You can use file folders to help with organization or, if you have a lot of work space, just sorting the documents into different piles can work. Just be sure that no one else has access to your handiwork (your cat who loves to knock things off tables or your little one who always has sticky hands) or you could be forced to start over.

If you do opt for folders, GoodHousekeeping.com writer Lauren Smith recommends using a color coding system to make finding what you need easier. If you have an established filing system that might be overloaded with documents of years past, now is a good time to purge, too.
“Limit all of the excess papers in your filing cabinet, like bank statements from three years ago,” writes Smith.

Digital world
Even if the idea of keeping track of every scrap of paper, receipt and document makes your head hurt, you know that filing taxes is a must-do. Instead of fighting necessary paperwork, embrace it, but just for a little while. Scan important documents, utilize filing tools to record them and then dispose of the hard copies; you’ll have everything you need for tax season minus the paperwork piles.
“Shoeboxed is the ultimate tool when it comes to digitizing receipts and expenses. All you have to do is scan paper receipts and add in digital ones — Shoeboxed extracts the data from your receipts, categorizes and organizes them so you end up with a fully searchable archive of receipts and expenses,” explains Grasshopper.com writer Kiera Abbamonte.
Try Evernote if you’re looking for a multipurpose tool that can assist with a wide-range of organizational needs.

“To use the app for tax documents, you can create a tax notebook and add any tags needed for things like income statements, charitable donations and more,” Abbamonte advises.
For all things money-related, choose Mint, which Abbamonte considers the “ultimate all-in-one financial tool.” It syncs with your bank account and can assist with budgets, payments, investment tracking and tax document organization.

Whether you prefer paper, paperless or both, there’s a way to easily organize everything you need for tax season.

Toys for Tots

This winter, Maritime Chevy is collecting donations for Toys for Tots! The holiday season can be a joyful time to gather and celebrate with loved ones. With everything going on, it can be easy to overlook those who may not be as unfortunate when it comes time for the holidays. This month, we’ve been collecting any new, unused and unwrapped toys and books for children in our local community for the Norwalk Toys for Tots. In fact, the deadline for our donations at the dealership ends TODAY – if you have any toys you still wish to donate, we’ll be filling our Silverado with donations for the rest of the day!

Sponsored by the United States Marine Corps, Toys for Tots collects and distributes thousands of toys throughout the winter months to their local communities. Everything counts, from the smallest Lego to the biggest teddy bear! Over 97% of your donations, both physical and monetary, go directly toward their mission of providing for less fortunate children. The remaining 3% goes toward covering their fundraising expenses – which means not one dollar goes toward salaries.

Unable to donate any toys or books this year but still wish to participate? Click here to visit Toys for Tots and make a monetary donation in support of their mission!
