Christmas can be a chaotic time for everyone. Your time is consumed by preparing your home for visitors, shopping for friends and family, cooking, entertaining, and much more. Let’s not leave out that you are still trying to maintain your day-to-day duties like working and parenting. Luckily, there is a ton of crafty ways to make things quick and easy this holiday season. Check out some of the Christmas tips below if you’re looking for a little help.
1. Crafty Christmas containers are always a good idea. If you have some Pringles cans lying around, you can easily repurpose these cans into handy containers for cookies and other sweets. Cover the containers in wrapping paper and add a little bow or ribbon to the top. Don’t forget to add your own little creative flair! 2. A Charlie Brown Christmas was a great memory from our childhood. If you remember correctly, Charlie Brown’s scrawny tree and its lack of branches wasn’t one of the best trees in town. There is a way you won’t run into that same issue. Use shiny green tinsel to make your Christmas tree look fuller. Be sure to layer the tinsel on the inner branches to fill out the tree. The transformation will be remarkable. 3. No one wants to be the person that has to untangle the Christmas lights. Try making things a little less complicated this year by wrapping Christmas lights around a hanger to keep them from getting tangled. This will make next year a breeze. 4. When’s the last time you’ve added a little something festive to your hot chocolate? Well now is the time! Freeze whipped cream on a cookie sheet and use a cookie cutter to make a marshmallow like floater in your hot chocolate. It’s quick, easy, and fun for the kids. 5. Looking for something to do with those extra ornaments you have leftover from the tree? Try hanging the ornaments from a light fixture to transform it into a Christmas chandelier.
